Events Made Simple
(Click on this link - and message us about needing your save the dates and invites done!)
Out of some of the biggest worries I get for my clients I have to is that the attendance number is the highest. I have couples worried that they will only have 1/2 the people actually show which unfortunately has been a large issue since Covid. This blog is for someone who wants to make sure they get their money's worth. Whether your budget is 10,000 or 100,000 or if you are having your wedding downtown from your home or accross the world not knowing who all is going to come is STRESSFUL.
Below are 5 tips thay increase your chance of using all of the chairs that you request for your venue so you have all of your expectations met.
Send out Save the Dates no less than 1 year out. Don't get me wrong I have had MULTIPLE weddings that I've planned with 3 months to go but 9/10 people normally don't show like you would expect. So make sure that you send out your save the dates as soon as you all get engaged so that your wedding guests can look at their calendar.
Have an engagement party and invite EVERYONE. I say this for 2 reasons - first being that you will get to have TONS of fun with people you don't see often, and second you will also get the opportunity to make sure that you know who will actually be attending the big event.
Create a website for your guests and make sure that it is on all of the invitations. This will make it easy for all of your guests
If you are having a destination wedding or have a lot of people coming out of town consider putting everyone of your guests into a Facebook group and having your travel agent manage it so that they can keep you updated for who is ready to go!
Make sure you get a strong RSVP list going about 6 months prior to the wedding that way all your vendors are updated for the day!
